I did a little looking, as I'm thinking of putting one on my 480C also. Went to Case Construction parts, and got a picture of the 207 block. It shows a 3/8" plug (#4) right around the engine oil dipstick area, that goes into the water jacket, looks like between #1 & #2 cylinders.

I also did a search on the heater part number, and ran across the subject on another tractor forum site. One mentioned the element is a 3/8" thread, and 5 1/2" long element.

The location of the plug appears to be the same on the 188, and 207 blocks. I've attached an exploded view of the 207 engine block, directly from Case Construction.

Here is the part number for the heater A44815, and here is the power cord part number, A44814.

I went to Messicks to see what the price of the element was. Shows $35.04, and the A44815 has been replaced by part A182030.

I'd double check with a Case dealer mechanic to be sure. That is what I will do, unless the parts counter guy knows his stuff.

Hope this helps..!!
