JD 2840 roto diesel leaking around throttle control arm

Hi

I have a John Deere 2840 with a roto diesel injection pump. There is a leak around the throttle control arm at the pump. I Was wondering if anybody has had this problem so i can get some information before I pull it apart or send it to a repair shop.

it should have a cav pump on it if so you can remove the top cover yourself and change the orings on the shafts it isn't a hard job you just have to watch when putting back to gether that you get the throttle connected right and the kill cable back in the right slot

G'day the roto pump is a copy of the cav pump if you search the forums you should find a few threads on replacing the 'o' rings on the throttle shaft
