Kubota B6100
New to the forum, I have a 1980 B6100 Kubota. Hydraulic line burst at weld joint where it feeds through bolt at bottom of the pump. Tried JB Weld, on slim chance it might hold. Didn't. Bought new feeder line, bolt and copper gaskets. Question: Are copper gaskets sufficient to seal the line where bolt threads into pump or do I need to use liquid gasket or copper coat on both sides of each copper gasket?

Copper seal washers are perfectly adequate, no sealant should be used. The washers can be reused a time or two with good results, but copper is a soft metal and each time the banjo bolt is loosened(or removed)and retightened, some deformity of the washers occurs.

Thanks, Harry, I'll check the copper for deformities, since I've removed the bolt twice trying to stop leak before I found the crack in the pipe.
