pto driveshaft wobble allowable?
I was wonder how much wobble is there allowed for a 2' tiller pto shaft? I had to weld one end and now it appears to be wobbling a little. . at 540 rpm i don't see how it would hurt other than wearing out the u-joints??
thanks

Re: pto driveshaft wobble allowable?
Hinomoto Mike It could also cause wear in the splines where they slip on if its real bad. You could take it to a drive line shop and they can put it in amachine and find out how much it is out of balance then they tack weld a counter weight on the otherside to correct it.
