Bolens G274 PTO(iseki 4270) pto problem

I have a bolens G274, and I went to use the PTO today(haven't used it in over a year), but when I engage the PTO it doesn't engage. If i put the pto in neutral I can free spin it by hand and if I put the pto into low or high I can no longer spin it by hand. Makes me think its engaging just not spinning. Anyone have any ideas? Or anyone has a service repair manual for these tractors that they could email me that would be awesome!

Did you ever come up with anything on this PTO problem? My G272 is doing the same thing. I am going to try getting with lens12 to see what he may have as far as manuals and parts.
