JD 4410
Ok, so I had to join cause I can't find info on this at all! I have a JD 4410 e-Hydro. Last weekend I had to change a left rear axle seal. What a job for a seal! Everything seemed to work good. But today I was going to drive to a property down the road, but I have no C gear! I checked the linkage, it was fine. Wasn't in the way of the Axle Seal repair job, so it was untouched. Now I also get code .--. which by researching its the MFWD sensor. Checked all wires underneath. Everything's fine. I have A, B, N, and when it goes into C it's like it's in Neutral. Can hear a little light whine but no go. I hope nobody has had this problem, but I do hope someone can help me fix this! Thanks!

That code is showing as a MFWD fault. Try turing off your MFWD switch and restart tractor. Hopefully that should reset it and alow C range to work.

5 • - - • MFWD Speed Sensor
Normal Operation:
Fault Cause:
Output current exceeds a certain value without detecting an MFWD
speed. Engine speed must also be available at same time.

Machine response:
Cruise control will be disabled; loss of performance.

Reset:
Power recycled through off to clear error status.

Calibration Routine:
Fault Cause:
Missing MFWD speed or signal exceeds rpm tolerance.

Response:
Calibration routine stops.

Reset:
MFWD signal has to be available. Calibration repeated.

I've tried that. Even tried disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. The code will only blink when I put it in C and push the pedal. I can drive it around in A and B with no code. It feels like it's not engaging in C, almost like it's in Neutral. When I put it in C it'll roll. Just adjusted the linkage a little more. No go.

Oh man #5 don't sound good! I didn't even touch that far back for the seal replacement! Here's some pics of the job. Everything went back together smoothly. So I think.

Does anyone have a picture of the range selector gears?
