What Is It ?????

This thing has been laying around for several years. Don't even remember where it came from.

Its heavy cast steel, wimpy plastic pulley, thin strap holder & small screw.
3 Tapped holes on 1 end, small screw size.
But no provisions for mounting or holding it.
Don't understand it being so heavy, such a wimpy pulley and no way to mount it on anything.

Looks like a chassis to a tractor style lawn sprinkler, less the rear wheels and rest of it...

I googled this information about it. The trademark matches up, so it's probably something along the lines of lawn and water gardening products. I would guess the pulley on it was probably a guide for a regular garden hose??? They've been around since about 1948 so what you have could be as much as 60 years old.

Thanks Guys, Appreciate your thoughts and I think you are correct.

Looked at the Melnor site, guess they no longer make them. Chances are quite expensive in its day.

Sure would like to see a picture of the whole thing.
