I have an old JD 350 Sickle I want to dismantle to ship overseas. I've got the blade bar off and have removed the 4 bolts that seem to be the all that holds it on. However, the bar won't rotate about the pin in the middle and I can't seem to get it to pop loose. It will "work" on the pin but it acts as if there is something else keeping it from rotating on the pin. The Owner's manual covers almost everything except this; the parts manual doesn't help and I can't find a service manual.:confused2:

I'm hoping someone has the trick to removing this cutterbar:confused:

Just in case anyone is interested ... The bushings were extremely tight and holding the cutter bar snug.

I used a "dead blow" hammer to get it to pop free.
