Transmission Oil Light Won't Go Off NH TN75SA
I have a New Holland TN75SA tractor where the transmission oil light came on. We have changed the oil pressure switch and the light hasn't gone off. I've been told that the wires have been checked for any pinching as well and nothing was wrong with them. We aren't sure what to check next. The customer, as well as ourselves, would appreciate the help.

Did you change the correct pressure switch? There are two of the same switch, one for the 4WD and one for the transmission. Trans switch is oriented parallel with the rear axle, 4WD switch is perpendicular to it.

I have seen new switches that were bad.
If it is set up that the switch is a normally closed switch and pressure opens it try disconnecting the switch to see if the light goes out. It it does it is probably the switch if you know the pressure is correct (as Rick stated it could be the wrong one). If not either the panel is bad or you have a short feeding it somewehere.“Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other."
