Hi, I have a M.F.1250 tractor. I was using it the other day and I stopped it to saw down a tree. When I went back to start the tractor the engine wouldn't turn over. I have checked all the gears, are in neutral and also the P.T.O. is off. Any help would be helpfull. Thanks

Sorry about that- didn't see the post till today. I was going to suggest checking the safety circuit but I am glad you got it up and running. My father has a 1250 so I am glad you posted the fix just in case for next time. Was the neutral switch hard to get to on the 1250?
Radioman, The transmission safety switch is not hard to get at. Setting in the seat, the switch is located at the bottom of the right gear shift. Get off of the tractor and look at the bottom of the shiffer and you will see the switch.The price I paid for the switch was $ 103.00 plus sales tax. The part number is AG 3758794M91.
