Kubota L2900 Glow Plug Light Stays On

Recently the glow plug indicator light on my 1998 Kubota L2900 has been staying on after starting for about a minute and will randomly come on while operating. This doesn't happen everytime I start it and doesn't seam to be related to ambient temperture or operating RPMs. Is this an indication the glow plug is failing or something else.
