Picked up a New holland MC28 mower needing repair, the pto wont engage unless the threaded adjustment rod is adjusted to the max, like barley 2 threads left. And even then you have to hold it just right or it wont engage.
The linkage has been tampered with by someone, but I dont know what they have done to it. Here are some pics of the linkage areas im talking about. The one picture has a cable unhooked, its back on now.
Im not sure if maybe he hit something while mowing or what, im gonna try to get back in contact with the seller.
Its not the safty switch. I allready tried that. If anyone can give me some advice, or has a pdf repair manual that would help me out I would appriciate any advice.
