fuel problem
i was cutting brush on my ford 4000 for about a hour and a half when i got done started up a hill and the tractor went stone cold dead. i got off and saw fuel drippind from the intake side of the carb. i pulled the oil bowl off the air cleaner and it was full of gas. the tractor will only run while choked and it will olnly do that if you dont load it too much. what could be the cause of this and how would i go about fixing it.

Re: fuel problem
Pull the fuel line off rhe carb.there should be gas coming out the line.if so then the carb needs to be pulled off.take the float loose take niddle out an check for blockage and clean out the jets.if no fuel is goen to the carb could be fuel pump.
