Kubota BX2230 steering issue
I have a BX2230 that will not steer. From reading other posts I am 99% certain it is the steering cylinder. I cant afford to get it replaced, so I am going to have to do the service myself. Now for a lot of you this is no problem, but I am not the most mechanically adroit person you ever met. So really, I want to know if the steering cylinder is the part between the 2 tie rods, connecting the wheels together??
IF so I think I can get it off and repair it.
Also are there any tips or pointers I should be aware of before I start this project?
Thanks.
Re: Kubota BX2230 steering issue
The steering cylinder is the one with the hoses going to it, between the front wheels.
The rod possibly broke inside the cylinder.
I would take it off the tractor and possibly take it to a hydraulic shop,
