Kohler K301 Rebuild - crank journal size

I am rebuilding a Kohler K301 for my John Deere 212: It threw a rod, but I've cleaned the crank/connecting rod journal w/ Muriatic acid & polished it & it looks good. It mics up to 1.498 & is round (no flat spots). The spec says 1.500 but has no tolerance: It 1.498 good enough to not require grinding to .010 under?
