Try parking tractor on a slope nose down over night then try hydraulics should get rid of airlock
ford jubilee..changed hydraulic fluid and now nothing works!!

The main problem was NO hydraulics. Or perhaps that was secondary to the tractor owners stupidity ( that would be me!)
I did get the hydraulics working. But there is still air in the system, so I will give your method a shot. And the hydraulics are slower than before, but that probably is to do with the new fluid ( I expect them to be slower when cold anyway)

applying 2-4 psi with a rubber tipped blow gun to the dipstick hole should help a system that doesn't want to prime.. that and the plug loose on top of the pump.. etc.. no need to wait overnight.. etc..

I had a very similar problem with my Jubilee..... The fix was the high pressure relief valve... My tractor guy readjusted it and all was fine.... No leak down... Hydraulics on demand.... Lucky me he is one smart dude.... That is a very difficult problem to diagnose especially when on a forum.....
