Take good care of the two motors. A replacement will be very expensive as your searching has disclosed. High torque 12 volt motors cost an arm and two legs.
I have seen the distributors used to put down rock salt on sidewalks and parking lots in the winter. You may check and insure yours wern't used for that if so wash good and treat any metal parts. I also don't think Cole makes the distributor anymore.

No, these are mounted NEAR a fertilizer unit but not near enough for damage. Look like new with only a few hours of use.
