John Deere 1070 Ignition Switch
I dropped the keys in the snow and then inserted it in the ignition switch.
I think the moisture shorted the switch. I can not get any electrical items to turn on.
I am hoping JD has a fuse in the circuit to prevent any serious damage.
Please advise if you have any suggestions for this fix.
Thanks!

Re: John Deere 1070 Ignition Switch
Hmmmmmm.....typically the key and the electrical items are somewhat isolated from each other. Water isn't all that wonderful of a conductor anyways.
Check fuses, check the battery state also. Could be a coincidence. The forums are a great place to find information....but also a great place to find speculation. Only you can determine the real problems with your tractor. We're here to help you find the correct way to do it.
