I have just swapped my trusty and rusty 4600 for a 4610. I need to sort out various niggles (like a fuel gauge that doesn't work - you can't see down the filler like you could on the 4600 - and various lights that don't work). I have a couple of basic manuals for the 4600 and 4610 before 1984: but the 1987 4610 has some changes. Can anyone suggest where I can find a workshop manual online - or, particularly an electrical diagram for the 4610?

Try the New Holland website. They are part of Case-New Holland, the sucessor to Ford's tractor operations.

Thanks, Jerry,

I have just found a CD newly entered on ebay UK for £7.75 which sounds as though it has the workshop manual I need as a pdf. I have bought it and look forward to seeing it.

Best wishes,

Lawrence

PS. Those cattle on your logo look like Devons?

I have a 4610 also. One day my fuel gage quit working then the lights had issues. I found that a rodent had made a nest on top of the tank and behind the instrument panel. I gained access to that area and found wires that had been chewed and some chewed in two. I spliced everything back together and it has been working fine. I, now, check that area once in a while.

Thanks,
There is a current from the sender reaching the gauge but nothing through the gauge. I wouldn't be surprised to find some damge to the lighting and indicator wires though and I am waiting for an up to date wiring diagram before I spend more time investigating. Waiting for my workshop Manual cd; snow has stopped the postman coming down our farm track for two days now... (Hasn't stopped us driving out in a Peugeot 306 estate tho'!)
