Has anyone had to shim the front 4x4 axle pivot point on a YM2610D?? My front axle moves forward and backward on its pivot about 1/8 of an inch. Is there Yanmar shims made for that to make up for the wear or what have other guys done?
Thanks for the help in advance!

I've never done it on a yanmar.. but shims are common on older farm tractors.. like 8n's, etc... we frequently shim fore and aft of the kingpin, and even shim the axle stops if the bushing is worn a bit... decent bandaids till you can rebushing and repair correctly.

Nick, we have a really good fastener shop in Red Bluff. I took a shim from a 3110 and they were able to supply me with a couple of exact matches in different thicknesses. If you can't do the same locally let me know and I'll hook you up with these guys and they can ship you what you need.
