About halfway through the year, my John Deere 2120 3 pt hitch began operating funny.
It still raises and lowers, but the stop positions seem to be messed up.
I can raise the implement, but position control is all but gone. Any raising of the control arm causes the 3pt to raise all the way to the top.
The rockshaft cover was removed in the winter but I'm pretty sure it was running fine after it was replaced.
I've tried using the repair manual instructions to reset it but any movement of the control lever past halfway causes the lift to go all the way to the top, and it does not seem to be responding to movement of the adjuster screws.
Any thoughts/help before I go removing the rockshaft cover and seeing what's inside?
