Block heaters are offered by the OEM and rad hose heaters, while not as effective as block heaters, just heat the water jackets like a regular block heater.
Ya I hear ya.I here there are not even water jackets around the cylinders.I must of misunderstood him.I put it back together today and put the ready heater on it for about 20 min.Then gave it a minute of glow plugs and it fired up fine.Yep a water heater is the next way to go.The bad part is when your out cutting wood for a couple hours is it going to start?That's why I wanted to see if my glow plugs were working right.
