    hi folks new to this.bought my little orange a few years ago and got a lot of use out of it...but saddly neglected it and ended up with some problems...oil in the water...took the whole engine (a D850L) out last fall...just finished getting it back together today and can't get it to fire-up,even tried either(i know this is a no-no) still no bang any ideas?...reset the head bolts at 48...seems to have good compression and all just no go....thanks for any help R

    All air should be removed from the fuel lines (bled). Might even have to bleed the injector lines.

    HI DAVE THANKS,HAVE BLED THE SH-- OUT OF IT AND STILL NO BANG ...ALSO FOUND THE FRONT INJECTER IS NOT GETTING ANY FUEL ....NOTHING COMING FROM THE PUMP ...SO I GUESS THE NEXT MOVE WILL BE TEAR THE PUMP APART AND SEE WHY...THE OTHER 2 NO PROBLEM AND WHEN I TOOK THE ENGINE APART THAT CYL SEEMED TO BE GUNKED-UP SO MAY NOT HAVE BEEN WORKING ALL THE WHILE...STILL SHOULD HAVE GOT SOME RESULT (GOOD OR BAD ) FROM THE EITHER? THE JOY OF TOYS R

    It won't run briefly on either? Like at all?

    NO LUCK ....CAN'T EVEN GET A BANG OUT OF IT ....HAS ME STUMPED ...EVEN IF I AM ONLY GETTING FUEL TO 2 CYDS YOU WOULD THINK IT WOULD FIRE-UP EVEN IF IT RAN ROUGH? AND A HEFTY SHOT OF EITHER SHOULD HAVE PRODUCED SOME RESULTS.....STILL HAVE IT OUT OF TRACTOR ....MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT ALTHOUGH I CAN'T SEE WHAT AS I AM GETTING FUEL AT 2 INJECTERS MAYBE SUCKING AIR IN AT THE ONE THAT ISN'T WORKING??? THANKS FOR ANY IDEAS AS I AM RUNNING OUT R
