Bought tractor new with 5 hours, and now with 20 hrs its losing power (bogging down) in low range under no load on level ground.(just driving) Rpm goes from 3000 to 2000 until I let it catch up. I initially thought maybe a fuel filter issue, but I'm not sure it even has a filter that is accessable.

Any thoughts?

Took fuel filter off and there was some gunk in the bottom so i dumped out the fuel and rinsed out the housing. Put the original filter back in and Its still losing power. The filter looked ok, but I guess I will replace it next. If that don't do the trick its off to the dealer.

Replaced the fuel filter and its a totally different tractor! Tons of power (at least compared to before) and doesn't bog or lose power at all in low range.

There was some gray colored gunk that came from the lines when I drained a few cups out. Is this what diesel does when it gels? It looked almost like paper.
