I have a Kubota lawn tractor that ran fine a month ago and now it won't fire. Engine turns over but there is no spark at the plugs. Took apart and did not find wiring problems. I do not have a schematic. I am looking for locations of safety switches, troubleshooting ideas, and voltage test points. Does a bad safety switch stop the coils from firing? Should I have 12 volts on the coils when the engine is Turning over? Does anyone have an electical diagram ? What components would cause no spark? Thanks in advance.

I can't asnswer all of your questions, but yes...........a bad safety switch should ground out your coil and keep the spark from reaching the spark plugs.
