Ford 1700 4wd axle

Hello

I was driving to tractor fixing some spots in my long driveway when the front wheel broke off.....have looked everywhere to find a replacement. Has anyone ever had on repaired or fabricated at a machine shop..I know that there is an upgrade from NH but cannot afford the $1500+. Any help would be appreciated

My dad had his 1700 front axle repaired (welded) at the NH dealer. It took two tries - make sure they get the weld turned down to the correct size.

There is a fellow on Craig's List selling an entire 4 wheel drive front axle assembly 1979 ford 1700 4x4 front axle

I have a machinist that has successfully made these axles. I'd like to get a batch done to get the price down. Any interest?
