I have 54 inch woods RDC heritage finish mower an it appears to have water in the gear bow how do I drain this and get all the H2O out and then add new oil there is no drain plug only a fill level plug on side of the box.

3 ways, turn mower over, take gearbox off, or suck out oil with turkey baster or something similar.

Pumping it out is the easiest way, but you'll want to get the 90W gear oil hot.
However, Woods doesn't recommend changing the oil...not even a procedure in the manual. If you do change the oil, make sure you don't overfill!

It's usually very difficult or impossible to get the tube of a suction device down between the bearings on the vertical shaft. Therefore the heavier water will remain at the bottom of the gearbox. I flipped my RM990 over and drained the gearbox last Fall and let it drain overnight. Got some real good "stuff" out of it.
