Huskee LT4600
Hi all, have a Huskee LT4600 lawn tractor, just replaced my drive and transmission belts due to them being worn and slipping, popped my transmission tension spring off by accident and now can't seem to get that booger back on, anyone have any tips as to the best way to get it back on, if I take the belt off and attach the spring, can't seem to get it to pivot enough to get the belt back on, put the belt on and can't get the spring to stretch that far, lol, helpful hints would be appreciated.

Have you tried a old rear brake spring installation tool if you know any old car guys they should have one and show u how it works/ Its made for hard spring installations.

Make sure you have the pulley on the correct side of belt. We always used a loop of cord (old starter cord from mower) Loop around pulley or spring and you can pull it. this way your not trying to pull from under the unit.
to remove untie or cut.
