JD MX 7 BLADE HOLDER BOLT BROKE OFF

I have a jd mx7 with the stump jumper bolt broke off in the shaft have drilled out to 3/8 have tried easy out with a impact gun and didn't buge it what size metric bolt is it and any idea's on how to get it out

Weld a nut to the broken bolt and then try to remove it.

Could it have left hand thread ?

Thanks for the info got the bolt out got the thing back together mowed allday then this evening I hit a clump of dirt no rocks in it and the **** shaft broke off clean it broke above the he seal inside the gear box my opinion is that the JD mx7 is a piece of junk will never own another one no comparison to the old JD brush hogs

I have a JD 709 built back in the 80's. It will cut some big saplings(3"+)

Sorry to hear that. Doesn't it have a slip clutch on it?
