I have an 06 Jinma 254. I had a new clutch installed 3 years ago. The other day while mowing I noticed that it began to hesitate in movement while climbing an incline, or even making a turn. No its not the engine as it throttles fine. It appears as I am climbing the tranny "hesitates" then catches up and moves on. Even making a turn the tractor hesitates for a second and then moves on. It seems like the clutch may be slipping and then catches and grabs? Again I don't believe it is an engine issue as there is no strain on the engine. I changed the trans fluid and replaced with 80]90 oil. Could this be an issue with a clutch adjustment?

Usually when a clutch goes it slips steadily worse.and much more in higher gears. Maybe you have a sticking brake? If wet brakes, could easily be affected by wrong oil.

I have the same or very similar problem with a Farmpro 2430 (by Jinma). Thinking clutch, maybe throwout bearing?
