Go here: AGCO Parts Books sign in as a guest and look up your tractor. It should show your switch.

found a few wires that were bare going to the pto solenoid, going to fix that first thing in the morning and give it a try...any other ideas ??? thanks bruce

I know tis is a old post .but repaired the wires and that didn't fix it.i have been using another tractor for bushoging..but now I need to use my 1540 , it still does the same thing ..help me if you can ...thanks bruce
