Kubota BX2200
My Kubota BX2200 suddenly started acting up. When I turn the key, I hear the usual clicking. I turn the key to the start position, the engine rolls over and fires. But, when I release the key to the run position, the engine dies.

If I hold the key in the start position, the engine continues to run. However, if I move the transmission into gear, the engine dies.

I found an earlier post that referred to a 20-amp fuse that had blown. I did find that in mine and replaced the fuse with the spare. But apparently there must be something deeper because that fuse is now blown.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Trace the wires for the seat, PTO and other interlock switches as one is shorted someplace.

Thank you, thank you!!

I checked the transmission switch, but must have forgotten/ignored the PTO switch. I simply unplugged and replugged the PTO switch and all was good. Odd that something like that would cause problems so quickly and without any recent use.
