Hey all, have a 77 Massey Ferguson with a Perkins AD4.203. It has a leaky CAV injector pump(DPA 3240F938). Its leaking in between the main housing and the round section that has the injector lines attached to it. It even leaks when the tractor is not running. Can I just remove this pump and have it serviced? Timing concerns if I pull it? Any sort of diagram or removal process/servicing info would be awesome.
Thanks

Google DPA3240F938 and try and find a manual for it - they are out there. Once armed with the manual you should be able to set about making some repairs. Assuming none of the pump parts are cracked, it most likely will be gaskets/seals causing the problem.
Try getting the manual you might just end up saving yourself several hundred dollars

Much thanks for the advice. This link looks pretty similar. Should get me going in the right direction.
Thanks again for your reply

There are several places that will sell you gasket kits for that pump or you should be able to find the parts on ebay. Either way it shouldn't cost you much more than about $50 for a complete pump seal kit (gaskets, "O" rings and metal washers etc.). You can then fix it at your leisure.
