I have just over 200 hours on my Ventrac. In last 10 hours I've noticed a rough idle, declining power, and fuel gauge that always indicates low fuel. I'm not sure the gauge is related or coincidence. I drained the fuel filter and just ordered a fuel additive. Anyone run into similar situation?

Thanks

Tim

I do not know if you have resolved the problem. I have just under 200 hours on my Ventrac 4500Y. I have not experienced the same issues.

Did you end up changing your hydraulic filters John?

PS I have NOT used my blower yet this year.

To the original poster: I just experienced a stalling issue that may be related to your rough idle and loss of power. The cause was fuel starvation due to a partially clogged fuel filter... the filter closest to the fuel tank and shutoff valve, under the tunnel cover/floor, not the filter/water separator in the engine well. I am going to open up a thread about it in the Ventrac forum.
