Seems to be a fancy word for universal joint.
Was doing the maintenance on the Lucknow snow blower today and notice a seized universal joint on the tractor end of a PTO shaft. This Cross journal set seems odd as all 4 ends have to come out to remove the cups and bearing. Most U joints are just pushed out as one moves in it can be wiggled to be removed.
So one cap is so seized it cant be budged . I did see on the U joint an EG 50 not sure if its a G. After searching the net I find a part # of 180.018.130 . Does anyone know if that's a common part to be had at a auto parts store ??
