I'm trying to remove a flat rear tire off of a Kabota tractor and can't get one of the wedges out. The one that holds the head of the bolt in place came out quite easily but the one on the nut side of the bolt doesn't want to come out (and it's sort of hard to get to). I tried tapping on it from the inside/out with a small bolt and hammer but no luck.
Does anybody know of an easier way to get it out?
P.S. The entire wedge and nut/bolt assembly was installed last summer so it's not like it's rusted in or anything.

Well I got it out. I decided to hit on the hub a few more times and it fell out. :)

Kubota, not Kabota.

Maybe if you jack up the tire and remove the weight from it; it could be pinched.

Maybe next time?
