John Deere 5210
I just bought a john deere 5210 with a 520 loader and I found a hydraulic leak at the lift arm on one side. How can I fix this? Is there any way to take it off and replace the seal? Thank you

JD makes a kit to replace the seals. I have supplied a link to JD parts catalog or call your dealer. I have never taken one a part, so if it was me I would see if there are videos to watch and call your local JD dealer to get a cost. Did you get the parking stands for the loader as you will need them, if you want to take off the loader, often these get taken off and later do not get sold with the loader.

I have included a few other links, loader and tractor operator manuals.

I just had one done on my 512 loader which would be similar. Cost me 150.00 at the dealer.

I don't have any john Deere dealers near me but I do have a kubota and new holland dealer close to me, would they fix it also ?

Without a local Deere dealer, there a few options.
Take the cylinder to a hydraulic shop. They will be able to replace the seal (s) the leaking rod seal and the piston seal. Do both since the cylinder will be apart.

Order the parts from Deere (Google Greenfarmparts.com) and do it your self. Be aware that getting the nut off the piston can be troublesome.

Is it leaking bad enough to require a fix? I can't really tell from the pictures.
