We just replaced a fwd/neut/rev cable that was damaged on a JD 5520 with powrreverser transmission.
The customer complaint before it came in for repair:
Forward motion is delayed when using the hand control on the reverser. We found and replaced the damaged fwd/neut/rev cable. We are still seeing a problem with delayed/slow movement when the reverser is used in the fwd position without use of the clutch foot pedal. Placing the tractor in reverse yields an abrupt/fast change of motion.
I was thinking about checking clutch pedal linkage adjustment, and possibly pressure testing.
