Ford 1700 VERY VERY hard to start

How many hours are on the tractor? You might have a compression problem.

I will check the amp on the gp today. The tractor have ruffly 1200 hrs which dosent seam like much to me.

1700's are good machines. Won't start worth a darn without good glow plugs, though. If you get a new battery, buy the highest CCA's you can find. I also would not recommend WOT for starting.

oh i love the tractor just wish i wasn't fighting this battle right now with it. im hoping its the relay as talked about
