Over the weekend I was looking at a Massey Ferguson GC1720 and I could not figure out how the power was delivered to the hubs on the front axle. I see a front driveshaft but at the ends of the axle it doesn't look as if there is any room for an axle shaft to get past the king pin. So are the hubs a hydraulic driven planetary?
Any help on figuring this out is appreciated.

The so called king pin is a tube around the outside of a driveshaft that goes down and drives the front wheels. Object moved Go to the link and click on STEERING, then FRONT AXLE CASE and it will open a picture. Most tractors have the same type of set up. Even our Zetor 65hp works on the same principal.
