Broken BX Hood

New guy here, been reading where to get some parts. I managed to do the backwards log out of the bucket onto the hood move and shattered my already repaired plastic hood. I mean this thing was brittle and broke like glass. It's an 08" BX 2350. I was about to order one online and while searching the model number, this one came up on craigslist about 700 miles away. I texted the guy and he agreed to ship it. Looks like new, now to try to get my hood emblems off. I would love to replace the plastic shroud around the motor now but 275.00 plus shipping is a little steep. Lucked up on the hood though.

Good CL find on the hood. Why do you need to remove your hood emblems? Not sure about the "Kubota" labels, but the silver "BX 2350" emblems will pop off with some heat and a screwdriver (or plastic putty knife if you don't want to scratch). Good luck.

Dental floss usually works great to slice emblems off that are held down with double-stick tape.

I just meant the little hood emblem on top and the "K" on the front ( in picture ). The new one had the Kubota sticker and the 2350 emblem on it, looked new. I was able to get the little "pinch washers off the top emblem and had to glue the "K" back on though.

My new hood was $214 from Messicks. Was able to re-use all decals and emblems, and it came out perfect, nobody could tell. I may have been lucky. See this thread.
