Hello All! I'm new to the group and have a question regarding a 2007 backhoe/excavator Case 580M Series 2 that I bought this past year. I'll be doing some work on 'the farm' including pulling up stumps, etc., and want to ensure I do a proper service on it before starting. I'm thinking oil, hydraulics, radiator fluid, etc. I'd appreciate the collective wisdom of those here involving what my priorities need to be in these areas as well as any 'how to' tips. I'd also like advice on the best source for the 580's service/ parts/ repair manual. One very basic question to kick things off, "I can't find a 'normal' radiator cap to add the new coolant. There's just an overflow container on top. Where do I add the coolant, once I've drained it?". Lots of questions to start, but I appreciate the help and direction!
