Ford 7\' Sickle mower
Hey folks, I just purchased a used Ford seven foot sickle mower and the belt is broken. I am attempting to buy a new one but there are no visible part numbers on this sickle. The only numers found are B243139 which is on a metal tab hanging from a piece of wire and 60401 on the main frame assembly. Ford NewHolland says neither are a part number. Any ideas where a number might be.
Thanks for the help Rich

Re: Ford 7\' Sickle mower
I assume you have the belt....take it with you to the dealer/parts outlet. Also if you have a digital camera, take a picture of the mower and take it also. They should be able to set you up with either or both. BobG in VA

Re: Ford 7\' Sickle mower
also measure the main drive pulley on the mower it will determine which belt you need. They measure from 9-12.5 inches in diameter.
