MF 65
I have a diesel MF 65 with power adjust rims that are rusting out. The tires are 13.6 x 38, which I'm told would be on a 12 x 38 rim. Can't find any used in good condition. Buying new runs around $450 per rim. I need both replaced. A regular rim is $175. What is involved going from one to the other, is it possible?

I have seen a rusted rim have a plate welded over the stem hole,,,
then,,, drill a new hole at a different location,,,

That procedure is pretty common and works well at almost zero cost. Ken Sweet

Yep. Grind it smooth on the inside so the patch doen't tear the tube.

I have seen a piece of old inner tube cur to cover the patch on the inside. Then, the new tube will not be in contact with the irregular patch surfaces. Ken Sweet

I had rusted out valve stem holes on my IH. I welded washers over the hole and used the washer hole for the new valve stem hole. Has worked now for 14 years.
