I have a new to me Kubota M5640. It has a new to me all plastic sediment bowl/fuel filter assembly. I wanted to clean it. When I unscrewed and dropped the sediment bowl I expected the filter element to stay on the tractor but instead the bowl and filter all came out as one piece. Seemed odd to me but I don't know maybe that is normal. Anyway, when I tried to remove the filter cartridge assembly from the bowl by prying on it it wouldn't come. I couldn't wiggle it at all. I put as much pressure as I dared on a plastic piece that I wasn't sure about. So, Is there a trick to pulling the filter element out of the bowl or was I just to gentle ????? Thank you.
