no control on the back boom on my ford backhoe

Hello, my name is larry, can anyone help me or have a manuel I
can get. I have a ford 4000 backhoe and my back boom just swings back and fourth. I have read some of the threads and I understand that maybe I could have some air in my system or a bad valve . I'm not sure where these valves are located and a manuel might show where it is located.

Is your machine a 3 cylinder 1965 or newer with a 750 series BH?
If it is, disconnect the hose that connects the 2 swing cylinders. It's at the back of each cyl. Swing it side to side to purge the oil. It should tighten up the swing chain and be good for a little while.
