Mule drive belt torque converter

I was trying to figure out why my mule was losing power when I noticed about an 1"-1 1/2" hole in the plastic front cover of the belt drive torque converter
I have a 2004 mule 3010 model : KAF950B
My question is ... I'm trying to remove said cover and I need advice/instructions on how to undo the shock absorber, which is in the way?

Hellooo??? Is anybody there? Normally I would get my answer from a similar post but seeing how none of those post show me how to remove and replace the shock absorber.... it's in the way , so I'm depending on somebody from this site to help me out
