While bush hogging around the pond this morning, I noticed my TracToMeter had stopped registering RPMs and clock hours. The needle just hovers around zero now. I finished bush hogging and put the tractor back in the garage as the engine was too hot to attempt a repair.

Anyone have an idea what the problem might be? The meter has a cable that runs to the back of the generator. Not sure if there are any other connections or not - it sure is hard to see behind the dash. According to the amp guage, the generator is still working.

If I remember correctly (and I probably don't) /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. The cable is much like a speedometer cable and it's probably broken. You may get lucky and it's just slipped out of place.
