My Kubota M5140HD I don稚 know what caused this as it was this way when I bought it from the original owner, it has low hrs.
There a gap between the instrumnent panel clear cover and the rest of the main Dash housing. The gap is about 1/4 inch where moisture and dirt can get into to area. It looks like the entire dash housing is not up tight against the engine firewall.
Anyone seen this or know how this should be repaired? It appears that the entire housing needs to be screwed up tight so it fits tight to the engine firewall. I would guess that most everything today is plastic that some of the points of attachment have failed.
In the mean time I can
do a simple, down and dirty fix by just smearing a large bead of silicone to the separated area of the instrumnent panel clear cover and main dash housing (rear bonnet) to keep out dirt, dust & rain until I get it fixed correctly.
