Hello, new to the forum. Doing my first ever restoration, Ford Jubilee. Right rear drum and hub is original (4 screw). All four are seized. Tried penetrating oil and shock. Ordered a drag link socket but is too wide/thick won't fit in slot. Not a welder so welding a nut is somewhat out. Any other tricks out there? Any idea appreciated.

Use a small propane torch to get the screws hot enough to melt wax. Touch a candle to what ever exposed screw parts you can. Head/threads etc. Do this several times. Each time taking a large punch and hammer hitting the area around the screw. You don't need to hit it hard. You just want to send a shock through the area to loosen the rust. If you have a punch you can grind to fit into the slot on the screw that would be a good place to hit too. If you do this several times over several days the screws will become loose enough to turn out.

Best penetrating oil I have used is 50/50 mix of ATF fluid and acetone. Get nut hot, then flood - be sure the flame is somewhere else. Keep it soaked for a few days.
